I have been using a program to help with publishing my artwork in video format but the music available is rather limited and I certainly don’t want to run into the headache of using licensed music that i already own, so I had been looking for some alternative. What i found was an app to create music of my own. This is my second production. It’s pretty amateurish, but it’s mine :) and i’m still learning. The videos i produce are fairly short, so only portions of the songs i create are being used. It’s definitely a better option than what i was facing before.
I’d been quite busy these last few months, but not necessarily in the art department. I did a few smaller pieces here and there, but this is a larger more substantial piece worth mentioning. It’s currently still a work in progress:
Recently completed: Honey. 16 x 20 inches; oval canvas. Oil, acyrlic and gold leaf.
Since trying to get the studio back into working order, I pulled out the acrylics and created this, in the style of an old favorite from long ago, the Electric Ladyland Series.
16 x 20 inches, available in the shop.
Something new over the weekend overtook me
"MAXX:812" is a 6 x 12 inch drawing on wood in ink and pencil
So I'm at home recovering from a second total hip replacement (the right side, this time, I had the left one done in May) and I ran across my collection of Studio Ghibli movies. Talk about your inspiration!
Left to Right: "Kiki", "Chihiro and Haku"; each on 4x4 inch bristol board in watercolor, ink and pencil. Both available in my shop.
